1940's Rare and Collectible PLASTICFLEX Black Clutch

During WWII many Materials were being Utilized Overseas and Plastic was a Great Alternative for Handbags and Womens Accessories. This handbag is made of linked plastic squares and leather. It opens with a metal zipper. It is lined in black and there is a slide pocket inside. The label is attached to the slide pocket and it states Plasticflex Trademark, gives a patent number, and shows an apple all done in red lettering on white.

This lovely clutch will hold any size Cell Phone you have plus your other necessaries.

The Patent for this Plasticflex Brand Name was Granted in September of 1941 and the US entered into WWII after Pearl Harbor in December of 1942.

 This Lovely Clutch is in Great Condition. The lining is perfectly clean. The zipper works very nicely. The outside is completely free of wear on the tiles and the leather. It either has been used very lightly, or taken care of meticulously. It is Ready for You and Your Vintage Attire!
